WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING
An activity places up to six people in a hard rubber raft to descend any one of a number of rivers. Participants working as a team use a paddle to assist a professional river guide in navigating the raft through the rapids on the river. Getting wet is the name of the game and the real hook is that it is the only way to see some of the most impressive scenery in Panama. Rivers are rated according to rapids on the river and by volume. Rapids vary in classification between I-V. Class I is the mildest of water up to class V which is highly technical and requires a great deal of experience to run. Class VI is term used to describe a rapid that is too dangerous to run commercially. It can be an adrenaline ride, or just a scenic float; but regardless of your thrill level, rivers of all types bless the area
around Boquete.
